Evidence pack
How to create a digital compliance evidence pack
A digital compliance evidence pack helps teams answer a simple question: what did we check, when did we check it, what did we find, and what did we do next?
Core contents
- Scan scope: domains, pages, flows, languages, and excluded areas.
- Timestamped findings: rule version, affected URL, severity, and evidence snippet.
- Remediation plan: owner, priority, target release, and verification step.
- Accessibility statement: current statement URL and last update date.
- AI transparency inventory: chatbot, assistant, generated-content, or recommendation surfaces.
Why it matters
One-off audits decay quickly. Evidence packs become more valuable when they show history: new regressions, resolved issues, recurring problem areas, and proof that monitoring continued after launches.
Start small
The first version does not need a full governance program. Start with the highest-revenue pages and customer-facing AI surfaces, then expand into scheduled monitoring and procurement-ready reporting.
